Welcome to our little home grown, self built oasis of holiday luxury. In 2019 we were in a desperate search for our forever family home, until we stubbled across a few acres of baron land set on the outskirts of Allerston, a quaint village of North Yorkshire. The perfect playground for a relaxing holiday base on the edge of North York Moors National Park.

So blood, sweat, tears & ALOT of determination went into this little gem & we are delighted to be able to share it with you. The man of our house (Scott) cleverly self built these lodges & the rest of our family spent weekends muddling in to help. Our sons Finley & Stanley, along with our 2 Labradors Jess & Bell, and our resident horses Major & Shetland pony Snowbell all helped shape The Hideout to what it is today.

And now….

We can proudly offer 4 beautiful lodges with private hot tubs, sat peacefully on their own, footsteps away from Dalby forestry, surrounded by quaint villages & larger market towns. For us its the perfect mixture of exploring both country & coast within one visit.

North Yorkshire is the perfect base for getting out & exploring. With so much to see and do locally, you will wish you booked for a longer stay. The local market towns are thriving with coffee shops, cafes & independent gems, the perfect setting for a wander. The North York Moors National park hosts fantastic walking & cycling trails in Dalby forest, right on our doorstep.

Our lodges are 2 large bedrooms & comfortably sleep 4, plus a cot for younger children as required. The master bedrooms are elevated on an open mezzanine level to take advantage of the beautiful apex ceiling and views across The Hideout.
